Charlaine Harris has a rare gift for carrying you through these adventures with a pace that makes it difficult for anyone to put these books down. I read all 7 of these books in four days and went for the 8th book afterward. I can hardly stand waiting for book 9 because I want to know what is going to happen next! I only wish the TV show on HBO would reflect the books a little better as the storylines are just awesome and fun. Plus, I don't like all the foul language used on the TV show, it dumbs down the characters. I would recommend these books to anyone looking for an action filled book, you definitely won't be disappointed.

If you're like me and became addicted to TRUE BLOOD on HBO this last fall, this set is a must have.
I am NOT an avid reader, but I bought these books because when the show ended I was so upset. I just had to know more about the characters and what would happen to them. I've had this set for less than a month and am already on the 4th book.
In my opinion, Harris is a great writer! I find myself sucked in to the books, not wanting to put them down. They are easy to read, and flow wonderfully. I can see them in my head just like the show!
If you like TRUE BLOOD, you will LOVE this set! I will be buying the 8th book to finish the series, maybe she'll come out with another as well! From Dead to Worse (Southern Vampire Mysteries, Book 8)

I had heard about the True Blood series so when I saw such a great bargin on the books, I couldn't resist. Charlaine Harris is just fabulous! I love her Sookie character and although some of the ideas are out there, it's completely entertaining. I can't wait for the new releases in March!

I don't think I could have found a better deal on this set anywhere else, and believe me, I tried! Luckily, my order arrived quickly and just before I was snowed in for a week. The adventures of Sookie and her wacky crew kept me from getting major cabin fever, and now I'm eagerly looking forward to other titles by the entertaining Charlaine Harris.
