To do this, you must assign a numerical value to each of the deck, and keep a mental count of this. The sum total of these values, noting that the cards were dealt, is known as the count, and indicates whether the hot hand is a hand or a cold hand.
If we have a hot hand, it means that the deck is more high cards (usually ten more, including aces, which puts them in position to leave at any time). If the hand is cold, it means that more remains low cards in the deck being dealt.
The most common is to keep count of the letters assigned to the 2-6 a value of +1, which range from 7-9 a value of zero and -1 to letters from 10 to Ace
As the cards dealt, you should add the values as you will see, this is known as the strategy of counting. Add up the values of the cards visible, and the number of letters résteselo that turn yet. When the outcome, this tells you how much money you should bet. The more positive is the addition, it should raise its bid, and on the contrary, while the lower result, the lower should be.
This technique can bring many benefits if practiced regularly and learn to master it to perfection. Try it and you will not regret it.

In the case of blackjack, as well as the many casino games current, it is difficult to date and place for birth. There are several schools of thought, but certainly the most widespread is that which places its origins in the seventeenth-century France. According to this theory, blackjack originated from another game, called vingt et un, or twenty-one, way back then that it was spreading by the local French country game. It is very possible that the blackjack drink directly from that game, even with significant variations in their rules.
Twenty-one blackjack differs from the two points in particular. First the dealer was only allowed to double the bet. The other difference was that the player could bet after each round. According to this theory, the current blackjack also drink other types of French, such as chemin de fer and french ferme.
Another theory is that quite says that the game comes from a variant known in Italy and Spain, the half past seven. Here the figures worth half a point and there was a placeholder, the king of diamonds. The seven and a half was played with the cards face up, including the seven, eight and nine, and when the player has passed, used the term “bust”, which is something that is still used in the current blackjack.
Coinciding with the French Revolution, the game arrived in the United States at a time that had not yet issued any ban to the game in any of the recent state of the country. The blackjack was spreading rapidly throughout the U.S., partly because of its simple rules, easy to remember. In the late nineteenth century the game was banned in the United States because it was linked to organized crime and delinquency, but this did not discourage the players, organizing illegal gambling thus further grow the popularity of blackjack. These laws ban is tightened further during the 20s.
Then, in 1931, the state of Nevada legalized gambling within their borders. Nevada was a state path, which at the beginning of the twentieth century experienced a large increase in population due to the large number of workers who came to build the railway. When he was finished, new inhabitants arrived in the same way, to build the gigantic Hoover Dam, which took decades to complete. At the time, Las Vegas was already one of the most important cities in the U.S.. In the city of lights, blackjack is one of the most popular games.
With the normalization of the game arrived specialists. In 1953 he published the first study of the game, hand of Roger Baldwin and his team. In this study, called “The optimal strategy of blackjack and was published in the Journal of American Statistical Association, researchers developed a system to give advantage to the player in front of the home using mainly mathematics, probability and statistics method although valid, was too difficult to implement without more help than the memory itself.
This problem is solved Professor Edward O. Thorp. Used the same assumptions that Baldwin, but he had the help of the new IBM computers, the workplace. With the help of machines, Thorp developed a reliable system that would count in the famous letters.
In 1963 he published one of the most celebrated books in the history of the game, “Beat the dealer” ( “Win the dealer). The book became one of the best sellers, so much so that today remains one of the guides referred to in dealing with this game. The casinos saw him as a great threat, so they began to take the time to catch the card counters. Continually changing rules, and adding more cards to the pile to make it more difficult to count the cards remaining to leave.
Another of the key characters in the history of blackjack was Ken Uston, a mathematical genius of the course professor at Harvard University. Uston organized groups cronies started heading to Las Vegas. It was the first group to be aware that they have used in situ ordenarores to help with counting letters. Specifically, Uston and his group wore hidden in his shoes, launched and operated signals between them, seek to dominate the table where they were. Uston and his team found themselves with time banned all U.S. casinos and some of the rest of the world, which was not prevented from continuing in the gap, and he became a master of disguise.
Today, thanks to the internet, blackjack’s popularity continues to grow and has become one of the most popular games for players.

Odds of winning at the blackjack BlackjackPara win, you have to know the odds of doing so. People who are successful in this game are able to manipulate the odds to play in its favor, basing the size of their bets and their decisions on the events most likely to occur. These predictions based on the only available source of information: they have seen the letters and the composition of the deck.
Basic Probability
By applying a basic strategy right, pudes diminish the advantage of home in a blackjack game with multiple decks to 0.45 percent. In other words, it is likely to lose 45 cents for every $ 100 wagered. This does not mean we lose 45 cents per $ 100 exactly, but in the long run, these are numbers that should characterize your game.
Decide not to apply the basic strategy (based on play and heart) can result in benefits of the house more than five percent. Safe bets imply that the House has a seven percent advantage and should always be avoided.
Variants of the Odds in Blackjack
Some casinos have changed the rules, “the dealer is planted with 17 soft” to “the dealer called soft 17.” This change increases the house advantage of around 0.66 percent. Waiver options that allow waive half the bet and give up the hand, is a big advantage if used cleverly. Diminish the advantage of the house around 0.35 percent in the 17 cases with mild favorable to the player and 0.55 percent in cases with less favorable rules.
Elements that should be known about the Odds in Blackjack
Blackjack variants that appear to offer better odds of winning may not be as beneficial. Many blackjack games that offer better rewards in exchange for combinations of letters such as blackjack or insurance cards using Spanish. Of these ten cards are removed (but not the figures). Given that a deck rich in letters ten points advantage to the player, these cards effectively counter the odds favor that involves gambling.

Council No. 1 Strategy Blackjack: Dealer to the possibility of changing
If the dealer has 4, 5 or 6 in sight, you’d request a new card unless you have a hand “smooth” (no one can go with any additional card). These letters give the dealer a good chance of passing, which you would be highly favorable. In fact, in many situations, wanting to bend or break your hand to get more money if the dealer will pass.
Council No. 2 Blackjack Strategy: Strong Hands
If you have a hand of 17 or more, you’d request a new card, even if the dealer’s visible card is higher than yours. Your chances of spending too large. Even if a letter of 10 points is the letter of the dealer most likely hidden, it can also be a letter with any other value less than 10. Even if you have 17 against the dealer’s 8, or 9, it could be a tie. It could go lower if these values.
Council No. 3 Blackjack Strategy: Always Divide the Aces and Eights, Ten and never break the Six
As a Solitaire is a powerful letter, two aces are only twelve puntos.Divídelos provided concédete chance to win two 21. Two 8 total 16, the worst possible hand. However, if you can divide two 18 hands reasonably strong. 10 is a good basis for a letter of hand, but 20 is too powerful to be divided. Split 6 gives you two hands with 6 basic, the worst card possible.
21 blackjack – film where you can learn how to win at blackjack

Blackjack 21 “Who would not want to go to Las Vegas and filthy rich, not by luck but by intelligence have to do this?” asks Kevin Spacey, and describing the appeal of the story of 21: Jack Black. Spacey says that although this is a dream of fantasy, the movie is actually inspired by a real group of MIT students in the’90s. “I loved the juxtaposition between the lives of these kids in Boston, where they were nerds with pencils in his pocket, and the life that was invented in Las Vegas, where they can become any person wishing to be.”
“Las Vegas can become whoever you want,” says Robert Luketic, director of the film. “The MIT geniuses become rock stars. Are given the keys to get to Las Vegas. They have access to many things that others could only dream of. ”
Long ago that the partner in the adventures of production Spacey, Dana Brunetti, had heard rumors about the MIT math gurus (one of the most prestigious universities in the U.S.) that had been devoted to use his enormous talent with a view very specifically: to beat the odds of black-jack and make millions in the casinos of Las Vegas. “Since I started playing black jack, I found that you can win,” said Brunetti. “One day, by chance, a friend of mine had a dinner with a guy who used to count the cards in one computer that was playing before. Then I thought it was a fantastic idea for a movie. ” Brunetti knew the story to interested Spacey, “but do not get anything until Ben Mezrich wrote his story for Wired magazine.”
Mezrich’s article appeared in the September 2002 Wired. In his story about the budding geniuses from Massachusetts Institute of Technology who had defeated Las Vegas at their own game, the story of Mezrich included everything from large doses of action, a surprisingly close eye on security personnel in casinos, and the advantages and disadvantages of the dazzling and glamorous lifestyle of Las Vegas. Mezrich’s article was a story that sounded like a Hollywood thriller. Immediately enthralled by the possibilities, Brunetti had contacted Mezrich, the author’s first impression was that one of the students it was a joke (which is not too rare in a student at MIT).
“I called a guy and told me:” Hello, I’m Dana Brunetti, Kevin Spacey, and I have to wait on the phone. ” And I said yes, of course. I joined their number and told him that he would call. Then I searched in Google “Dana Brunetti, and it was really working with Kevin Spacey!” Brunetti and Spacey bought the rights soon after the article.

At the same time, Luketic read the Wired story and thought it would be a great movie. “He had just returned from a tour in Europe to promote a very legally blonde, and was looking for a new project. By then I read in Wired magazine article on the team of gifted MIT students who beat the casinos in Las Vegas, but when I called, I learned that Kevin Spacey had already bought the rights for the project. It took some years and one day a script landed on my desk and I turned around to agreeing. I guess it had to happen like that. ”
Kevin Spacey, Laurence Fishburne, Robert Luketic
The producer Michael De Luca explains that the book will awaken in all of us dream of winning at the casino in Las Vegas. “I’ve always liked the twenty-first day,” he said, “so that after reading the book, I tried to understand the method of the book. It is very difficult for anyone who is not a math genius, but it is also contagious. The few times you get well and to win a hand with a lot of pasta, you feel really good. ”
When the book arrived in bookstores Mezrich became a phenomenon, which remained in the list of over 59 weeks and sold 1.5 million copies sold. Translated into twelve languages, the book continues to record sales spectacular.
To adapt the nonfiction book by Mezrich to a movie, the producers made some changes to the story, but warn that the licenses no dramatic change which made the book so popular. “It’s a fun movie. Not intended as any docudrama “emphasizes Dana Brunetti. “We made some changes to the real story to make it work better as a movie for entertainment. First, at the present time and add the romantic element. But do not touch one iota of what makes the story so exciting, the tense action, high stakes, the use of false identities and bravado to reach the highest in the dizzying world of Las Vegas, winning at casino and making million. That’s what the book, and this is also what the movie.
Both the book and the film are inspired by the experiences of Jeff Ma, who studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology when he was picked to join the team of black-jack. Although Ma and his teammates had some of the heads of the country better equipped to succeed as a team needed something more. “I think the real reason that he asked me to join the group was because they thought it would be good not only because of my intelligence, but because of my behavior and my ability to enter a casino and sell,” he says.
Ma visited the set of filming on several occasions, both in Vegas and in Boston, and even makes a cameo as the delivery of letters from black-jack in the film. “It is a story that everyone would want to happen,” says Ma ‘Everyone wants to be that person who wins in Las Vegas, which manages to keep that lifestyle. ”
While owned by the MIT team, Ma was the main player, as his teammates, called observers, found an interesting deck, Ma sat and played with very high betting odds in your favor. Ma recalled that he had to overcome the natural parts of their personality to play the part very convincingly player. “We always fear, rational or irrational, that we caught,” he says. “I do not like anyone I yell. So, regardless of whether or not casinos could cause bodily harm, that fear is always hidden in some corner of the mind. ”
The MIT team has changed the lives of Ma, while not only belonged to him, but forever. “I think many people are engaged in work they do not like just for the money,” he says. “Thanks to the black-jack, I never have to do a job like that. I had enough money to do everything I wanted to train as water polo and then create a business of sports. Never will I accept a job that I do not like just for the money. And this is the best gift that the black-jack has given me. ”
Ma is currently forbidden to play black-jack (or twenty-one) in most of the casinos of Las Vegas. The casinos allow you to participate in other games, but not in what is a teacher. But what I miss most is not the least Ma black-jack, but the part of the team. “We were a group of 10 or 20 guys literally a kid, 21 years-that gestionábamos a multimillion-dollar company, trying to make it work and trying to make more millions. I miss the camaraderie. ”
To direct the film, the producers thought of Robert Luketic. The producer Michael De Luca says that Brunetti, Spacey and he was attracted by the vision of the film Luketic. ‘21 Black Jack covers many genres, many different tones. It’s a thriller with elements of action, comedy and romance, and is inspired by real events. Even with all these balls in the air, Robert was able to balance them in a unified vision. ”
“I had sent several romantic comedies, and I wanted to try something very different,” confirms Luketic. “With everything that Jack Black could offer 21-times of high stress, near accidents, and the fantasy come true to make Las Vegas a little of your own medicine, I found a fabulous opportunity.”
Kate Bosworth, who had previously worked with Luketic guy in your life (Win a Date with Tad Hamilton) said: “It has achieved the impossible balance of being extremely professional and serious when needed but still a child in the background I love that! I think that people with that kind of personality makes the best movies, because it is fun to get. ”
Kate continues: “Robert has a great sense of humor. When I’m with him, I think I can prove anything, not something that happens to me all over the world. “
Blackjack Myths

Now you know what you should know is that blackjack is not blackjack, myths that have clouded the thinking of many potential winners.
Myth # 1: You need luck to win at casino blackjack. This is completely false. Blackjack is the only game in which mathematics can have a permanent advantage over the house using their own skills. The long-term player that knows how to play the game will be exactly how much profit it makes from each strategy used.
Myth # 2: You need to be a mathematical genius to learn how to win at blackjack. This idea arose after the math professor Edward Torpe publish his book to Earn Dealer in 1962. The press focused on the fact that he was a professor of math and concluded that only an extremely intelligent person with a mathematical mind could win in blackjack. That is completely wrong.
Myth # 3: You need a photographic memory to learn to win. Do not need a photographic memory, or any other use of memory. The hardest part is memorizing the basic strategy for playing any hands. If you can remember a single number can then keep track of the cards.
Myth # 4: The dealer spread too fast to be able to count cards. While some crupiers if spread extremely fast, never shared faster than you can play. This is because no dealer spreads deposed on you until you make the signal that passes or not. Some dealer will try to bring them to the rhythm, starting slowly and finishing fast, but you control how you want to play your hand. He never spread so fast that you can not keep track of cards.
Myth # 5: It is impossible to win when you play with 4 or 6 decks because there are too many cards to count. Seems formidable playing with four or more decks, but it is not more complicated. Just takes more time to keep a record of 208 letters instead of 52. the complexity of the letters is the same. You can still count cards with a simple “plus 1 or minus 1″, as in a game of a deck.
Myth # 6: You need to start with thousands of dollars to earn significant amounts of money in Blackjack. All you need is two hundred dollars. With so small a beginning could earn thousands of dollars!. Of course it will take much longer if you start with just because you can only make small bets each time. But at the same pace that will win if bet big. The more hours you play the more wins.
Myth # 7: There is no trap in the large casinos of Las Vegas. In my experience, the larger casinos are more traps are the experts dealer. The dealer in the world’s largest casinos have made me cheat by thousands and thousands of dollars. However, it is very unlikely that a dealer tramposo be punished by the house.
Myth # 8: Just trap him in the big gamblers. A cheater will cheat dealer who wants, no matter if you’re betting 50 cents or five dollars. The dealer cheats do not discriminate because it is easier than they are dealt a good hand (affecting all) who shared a bad hand to a player in particular.
Myth # 9: The players play the ill affects of the good players. It has been proven that the bad players at a table affect both negative and positive the good players. A winner never blamed a bad player because he lost, on the contrary he would appreciate having played poorly.
Myth # 10: The player who sits on the third base may have a greater effect on the dealer to make this move than any other player at the table. This seems to be true because it is the last player takes the letter but has no more effect than any other player. No matter who is going to end. What matters is how many and what types of demand are taken by total players.
Myth # 11: The casinos use shills to be able to make cheating players. A Shill, a casino employee who plays with house money to attract players to the table. I’ve never seen that use a Shill me in all my years of playing. It has no long-term effect on the advantage or disadvantage of a player.
Ten Tips for Winning at Blackjack – how to win at blackjack

Ten Requirements for Winning at Blackjack
Blackjack Professor
In studying the lives of successful professional, and combining with my own experience of developing systems for winning at gambling, I find ten requirements for winning at the Blackjack:
1. A thorough knowledge of the game.
You can not expect to win in something you do not understand. Although you must be familiar with the rules and procedures, what you should know is the game!. This includes the basic strategy, the master control system of the cards, the ability to bet properly and how to avoid that trap him.
2. Keeping records
It is vitally important to keep records (remember) while playing. Need to know where and when he played, his impression of the dealer and the head area (¿was being observed or were cheating?), And most importantly, his won-lost record. Hitting the pattern of their victories and defeats you can monitor your budget and identify crupiers with casinos and that it is difficult to win.
3. Auto Knowledge
The game is so psychologically powerful that it can totally transform. Must carefully monitor their emotions during the game. Are you the type of player who continues to gamble when it loses, or one who can stop when pierde_. Can interact with other players even if these bother you? You can stay calm when playing against a dealer who does not like him? There is no easy path to self. Get it playing and paying attention to their feelings.
4. Independence of Thought and Action
Must have confidence in their judgments and to act independently. Can not afford to be influenced by others, whether friends, enemies, crupiers, colleagues or whoever. In the same way, giving advice to a fellow game is a bad idea. My answer is now standard. One woman, seeing that I was winning I asked, after a 4 against his benefit 9 / 8 above, if you had made the correct move. I told him. “Madam, when you win is always the correct move.”
5. Mental Agility for a sufficient concentration.
Mental agility not only means being alert, it is also the ability to concentrate on the cards no matter what happens around them. It can only be learned through practice. You should be able to record and keep the cards with the dealer and at the same time. Whatever method you use to practice, the time you spend doing it worthwhile.
6. Physical Preparation
It means having your body ready to play at least four hours a day, a combination not just of an adequate physical condition, but an adequate amount of sleep. A casino is Disneyland for adults. There are no clocks, no lunch. It is difficult to maintain its biological balance in such an atmosphere, but fortunately most of us have included a “warning fatigue.” ¡Pay attention!. When you start playing, stop playing and rest. People trying to not miss anything, usually end up missing one thing: your money
7. Basic knowledge of probability in the letter must know the odds on the cards to understand the effects of the gusts in their game. When you do not know what type of losers gusts may occur, are more likely to trap him. This lack of knowledge clouded his sense of suspicion. Second, the odds can help you identify your money available. Knowing the percentage of advantage that you can not spend more than what is acceptable. Thirdly, we must know its success rate to find out if winning is as it should. If it is not done, you should consider the possibility that the dealer is cheating you.
8. Auto Control
This is the most important psychological condition to win. It is particularly important when you’re losing. No matter how good your system or your game is, when it starts to lose should stop playing!. The path of the main street in Las Vegas to the airport is full of losers who failed to stop, and who sold their tickets to return to recover.
9. A Game Plan
Having a plan can mean the difference between success and failure. How many travel game you do? How long will stay in each? Thinks that places to play? How much money do you need? Think how many hours a day to play? It will be just “business” and intends to socialize? These and other questions must be answered during the planning stage. Without a game plan pod’ra not control the game, the game control you.
10. Experience
There is no better teacher than experience. There is only one way to get in blackjack, and that is playing in every game that is provided. Play in casinos in places large and bad death. Play against crupiers young and old, beautiful and ugly, and of different races. Play games and only one of several decks, with up to 8 decks. And of course, also play against an imaginary opponent in the kitchen !!!!!

- The Blackjack is played on a table with a dealer and up to seven players. In each area there is a square of players to place bets.
- The number of players is irrelevant because each player plays only against the dealer.
- Wagers are made with chips of colors. Each color corresponds to a value bet, these values depend on the casino.
- All bets are made before receiving the card, and once these were over, the bets can not be removed or modified. If the player places a bet, the dealer will deal cards no. Wagers must be placed on small towers, with the highest value of chips at the bottom of the tower.

- Once at the proper table, we must find out if you’re playing a version of a single deck or multiple decks.
- A beginners are encouraged to play in the release of several bundles, which consists of a game with six or eight decks shuffled. The cards are distributed face up so that all cards are in the game. The reason for this is for the novice player to feel more comfortable with the game and the atmosphere of the casino. It is also advisable to choose the table with the lowest of all Gambling Casino, in this way the rookie will not lose much or so fast. Note that the more cards, the greater the advantage of the Casino.
- Once you’ve practiced and understood the basic rules of Blackjack, you may want to switch to a single deck version of the game where playing cards are distributed face down and the dealer only one card with the face upwards.
- Each player is dealt two cards, either face up or face down, and the dealer is dealt one card face down with his face and another upward. The value of the hand is the sum of the two cards.
- If a player gets a card value of ten and an Ace, sum 21. That is called Blackjack, and will be paid 3 to 2. The suit of the cards does not matter in this game.

If the player and the dealer have the same amount of games, it’s a tie and nobody wins the hand. As mentioned before, the players do not play against each other. The players play first, if one exceeds twenty-one, lose the bet, even if the dealer also exceeds.
- Because the value of As may vary, in the first round of distribution, the value does not matter. This is the same as the Ace is worth one or eleven, so the hand is called a “soft hand”. If the next card and the Ace value of eleven, plus the value exceeds twenty-one, the Ace is now worth an unfailingly, so it is called a “Mano Dura”.
