Video Poker
Here is an explanation of Poker combinations that are used in all Video Poker games. In Video Poker, the values of the cards are (in ascending order): 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A
Jacks or better – a pair of Jacks or higher value cards. Letters should have the same value, P. ej. Q, Q.
Tens or more – the same as “Jacks or better”, but the cards must be worth at least ten.
Reyes or more – the same as “Jacks or better”, but the letters must be at least the value of a King.
Two Pair – Two separate pairs of cards with the same value, eg 10, 10, K, K
Terce three letters with the same value, P. ej. 8,8,8.
Flush – Five consecutive cards but not the same suit, p. ej. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. If the letters are also the same suit, then you have a stairway with Flower (descita below).
Flor – five cards of the same suit that are not consecutive, P. ej. 4 of diamonds, 8 of diamonds, 9 diamonds, Diamond J, K of diamonds.
Full: a combination of third and Par, P. ej. 8, 8, 8, J, J.
Poker: Four cards of the same value, P. ej. 5, 5, 5, 5.
Tens of Poker to twelve – the same as poker, but with value of 10 letters or less.
Poker Jacks, Queens and Kings – like poker, but with cards that have a value of J or more, but not greater than the King.
Poker Aces – Four cards of the same value, where they are aces.
Poker Deuces – four cards of the same rank, where they are Deuces.
Flush with Flower – five cards with consecutive values and the same suit, p. ej. 5 Hearts, 6 of hearts, 7 of hearts, 8 of hearts, 9 of hearts.
Quintillan – five cards of the same value. As there are only four clubs, this combination can only occur in games with a wild card (wild), such as Deuces Wild or Joker Poker.
Imperial Flower – Ace, King, Queen, Jack and 10, all the same suit.
Flor Imperial Wildcard / Wild – the same as Flor Imperial, but with at least one wild (wild).
Natural Imperial Flower – the same as the Imperial Flower, but not wild (wild).
