Party Poker’s software has recently been updated, giving a nice facelift to the lobby area but unfortunately neglecting the actual playing table which is still a bit drab. The software itself however is fast and reliable, and supports up to four tables being played simultaneously.
They have also launched a no download version of their software, which means that Mac (aka Macintosh) and Linux players can also play at Party Poker now.
One special hot feature ,which you can now see , that sets Party Poker from other great poker sites is the Deal Making best facility. This usually comes into play whenever a tournament is down or maby to the final table and is entirely optional. All players must agree to do a this deal. This means that they always can decide between them to stop the poker tournament and split the chips in an agreed way anyhow.
All players always must agree to discuss a deal and before it can go ahead, but by discussing the deal it does not commit any player to actually following that through and accepting the terms of the deal. Any player can refuse the deal and the tournament carries on as before.
Games
Party Poker offers a wide selection of Limit, No Limit and Pot limit Texas Holdem, Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, seven card Stud, and Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo. The highest limit for Holdem is $30/$60 and they recently doubled the number of highest limit tables from three to six tables. The lowest limit they have is $0.50/$1. They also offer $1000 No Limit tables along with $600, $400, $200, $100, $50, and $25 NL tables. Unfortunately, there is not a large selection of high limit Seven Card Stud tables: only two $20/40 tables available. Party Poker also has Bad Beat Jackpot Tables from $2/$4 Limit Holdem all the way up to $15/$30.There is a good variety of game play on Party Poker, with Omaha and & card stud being available as well as limit, pot limit and no limit Texas Holdem.
All tournament types are also well served with a wide range of buy-in options and single table tournament Sit & Gos available from only $3. Ring game tables where you can just go along and sit at an empty space are available at blinds of $0.02/$0.04 and upwards to $25/$50.
Party Poker’s main event is the Party Poker Million. They have also replaced the $1 million tournament with $300,000 guaranteed every Sunday. Player’s club free-rolls are another attraction at party poker. Players accumulate party points while playing real money games and can redeem them to enter free-rolls or various other tournaments.
Tournaments
Since they are a large cardroom, Party Poker usually has some interesting promotions running. One thing that has always annoyed me about this site is the complicated nature of their promotions. A recent promotion dubbed ‘The Grind’ was a headache to try to understand. I think their promotions would be more enjoyable if they kept them simple and fun.

Party Poker is among the best places on the internet to play poker tournaments. They offer something for everyone. Their scheduled tournaments strike a perfect balance between offering high buy-in freezeouts and small buy-in rebuy events.

Deposit Bonus
The poker room initially offers players a 20% sign up bonus. Most recently, they offered reload bonuses of 20% up to $200, where you have to deposit $1000 to get $200. The Players
The players on Party Poker are notorious for being some of the worst players on the internet. The lowest limits are some of the toughest to crack on Party Poker. The middle levels are soft and that’s where a lot of people can make a profitable living if they play smart. Customer Service
Aside from the initial security check, Party’s support staff has a reputation of being below industry standards. The 24 Hour Live Help Chat feature never seems to work. You have to e-mail support a couple of times before you get a straight answer to your question. And usually you have to call them to get a real live person on the line so they can help you out. The staff is friendly and courteous but they are obviously swamped.

Party Poker is also the fastest growing poker site and they are adding more players daily. A year ago, only 35,000 nightly players could be found on the tables. Today, those numbers have doubled due to their aggressive marketing promotions. The word is out that some of the fishiest players navigate the low limit waters on Party Poker. So beware of the sharks swimming around out there, too
Overall, Party Poker offers relatively loose games and software that plays well and is relatively fast. The software is updated frequently to ensure safety and stability, with almost no downtime as a result.
